TPH Checking Clinic 2024/25

TPH (Total Package Hockey) IS OFFERING BODY CHECKING CLINICS FOR U15 (2011 - 2010) AS WELL AS ANY U13 (2nd year - 2009) PLAYERS FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON.
*** TO BE CLEAR THIS CLINIC IS MANDATORY FOR ALL FIRST YEAR U15 PLAYERS WISHING TO PLAY REPRESENTATIVE LEVEL AS WELL AS ANY 2nd YEAR U13 PLAYER WISHING TO AP TO THE U15 AGE GROUP ***
Body checking is an integral part of rep hockey starting at U15 (formerly Bantam)
This clinic is mandatory for all skaters wishing to participate in the U15 2024-25season and would be beneficial for all 2nd year U13 players to take in order to have some prior training in body checking before moving to U15.
Eligibility Requirements to be able to attend PMHA Body Checking Clinics:
Athlete MUST be already registered with the PMHA for the 2024-25 season
Groups for sessions will be decided on & scheduled by PMHA. We are trying to keep numbers in sessions even and limitto 16 skaters per session. This is to provide good one on one coaching and feedback for every playerby doing this they will feel confident with different types of contact after the session is completed and throughout the season.
The clinics will be put on by TPH – Total Package Hockey out of London, ON. The clinics are progression based and will be 60 mins in length to ensure more reps and the time to fully cover the progressions in body checking.
Cost: FREE TO ALL PMHA U15 PLAYERS & 2nd YEAR U13 PLAYERS
When/Where: Both Ice Times are at the Gemini Arena – Blue Pad @ 667 Adair Dr. Strathroy, ON.
U15 (Major Players 2010)
Saturday August 24th–8:00am -9:00am
U15 (Minor Players 2011) & U13 (Major Players 2012)
Saturday August 24th–8:30am -10:00am
If you are a parent of a U15 1st/ 2nd year player or 2nd year U13 player (2009) and wish to sign your player up please email me directly at [email protected] ASAP. When sending your reply please include the players name, age group, and birthdate. I will be sending confirmation as well as groups out on Thursday August 22 next week.
